Tampa's Declan Farmer and his teammates on the United States sled hockey team are finalists for Best Team of the Paralympic Games, part of the 2018 Team USA Awards.

Fans can vote at TeamUSA.org/Awards until April 6.

Farmer, 20, helped USA to a third consecutive gold medal when he scored both goals Sunday in the 2-1 overtime victory against Canada in the final of the Paralympics Winter Games. Farmer's first goal came with 38 seconds remaining and forced overtime.

Farmer was the MVP of the tournament, with 11 goals and 17 points in the five games.

He was expected to return to Tampa late Monday night for a short break before returning to Princeton University, where he is an economics major.

It was the second gold medal for Farmer, who began playing the game when he was 8 and honed his skills in the Tampa Bay Lightning's sled hockey program before joining the national team when he was 14.
