UPDATE, 3:52: 3B Matt Duffy (back) is feeling better but Cash said they would stay away from using him except in an emergency. That's not that unlikely, however, as the Rays wull have a short bench, with only C Adam Moore and Williams, assuming he gets in on time from Buffalo, where Durham was playing. … Had the Rays not DFA'd Johnny Field on Friday, he would have been called up. … … Cash said they like Milner, but someone had to go down since they needed a roster spot. … RHP Ryan Weber cleared waivers and rejoined AAA Durham.

UPDATE, 2:27: Kiermaier got a cortisone shot in his right foot today and will miss tonight and the Sunday games but expects to be "100 percent' by Monday. … OF Justin Williams, another one of the Rays top prospects, has been called up, and expected to arrive just before game time.

DEVELOPING: After a sloppy start to the post-All-Star break portion of the schedule, and losing for the fourth time in their last five games overall, the Rays take on the Marlins again tonight, first pitch 6:10.

The Rays are using RHP Ryne Stanek as the opener, with LHP Ryan Yarbrough likely to follow. The Marlins are starting RHP Pablo Lopez.

Tonight is one of the Rays bigger promotions of the season, as they are giving away DJ Kitty heads to all fans.

The Rays are awaiting word on the status of CF Kevin Kiermaier, who left Friday's game with right foot discomfort stemming from the early April game with he fouled a ball off the top of his foot. He is not expected to be in the lineup tonight.

Lineups when available.
