OF Carlos Gomez's overall numbers don't look like much (.215, 8 HRs), but he continues to do so many little things to help on and off the field. Saturday, he made a heads-up play by moving up from second to an uncovered third base on an infield pop-up.

RHP Tyler Glasnow overcame a shaky first inning to post another impressive outing throwing to the plate, but he clearly has to do something about holding the runners who do get on as they seem able to run pretty much at will. The Rays say it's an offseason project.

OF Tommy Pham continues to have a tough transition to the Rays. He broke his foot in his second game and missed two weeks, and since returning has hit the ball hard several times with little to show for it. Saturday, he got doubled off second and struck out three times.
