A fisherman off the coast of Orleans, Mass., tried to reel in a catch on Saturday when a shark decided the fish should be its dinner instead.

Caught on video, the 9-foot Great White Shark launched its body out of Cape Cod Bay and went airborne just feet away from the boat.

In the air, it snagged the fisherman's striper right off the line and disappeared back in the ocean.

The men were on a fishing expedition, led by charter boat Captain Hap Farrell, and were a little over 3 miles offshore.

Farrell captured the stunning moment on video, and while the Internet buzzes over the incident, he told local news outlets the sight is actually a fairly normal — even daily — occurrence.

Farrell said he's just worried the sharks will catch on about the easy meals fisherman can provide for them.

He chuckled about the idea.

"If they start realizing we can supply them with dinner on a regular basis, they might stick around for next season."
