Lyft is offering free rides to those interested in attending Saturday's March for Our Lives demonstration in Tampa.
The marches are being led by student organizers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, site of last month's school shooting that left 17 dead.
The ride-share company is offering the free rides in 50 locations around the country, including five in Florida — Tampa, Parkland, Orlando, Miami Beach and Jacksonville, according to a news release.
"Your bravery and intelligence have provided a renewed and much needed hope for our future. We are incredibly grateful for the example you are setting," Lyft co-founders John Zimmer and Logan Green wrote in a letter to the students.
Attendees interested in receiving a free ride must download the Lyft app and RSVP on the March for Our Lives website. Ride codes will be issued on Friday.
Once a code is received, enter it in the "promos" tab of the app.
Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Organizers urge early RSVPs as Lyft is only able to support free rides up to $1.5 million, according to the release.
The Tampa march starts at 10 a.m. at Kiley Gardens, 400 N Ashley Dr.
