PHILADELPHIA — Not even a coat of Crisco on light poles across the city could keep Philadelphia Eagles fans from scaling new heights in celebrating their team's first Super Bowl appearance in 13 years and setting up a rematch with the AFC champion New England Patriots.

After the Eagles rolled past the Minnesota Vikings 38-7 in Sunday night's NFC Championship game, thousands of fans poured onto the streets to show their support — as only those fired-up, passionate Philly fans can.

Earlier in the day, workers who jokingly called themselves the "Crisco Cops" greased light poles to prevent fans from climbing them. Philadelphia police even had some fun with that effort with this tweet during the fourth quarter.

Now comes the time in the night where we must warn everyone about the dangers of Saturated Fats. Cheers for #Foles! Jeers for #Poles! It's a long way down, baby. Celebrate responsibly! pic.twitter.com/mES5MpPTY4

That, however, did not deter some fans.

Fans not only ascended poles, but one even drove a dune buggy up the "Rocky Steps" at the Philadelphia of Art, where the iconic statue of Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa character sits.

However, some of the celebrations turned ugly:

Super Bowl XXXII, on Feb. 4, will be a rematch of Super Bowl XXXIX, the last time the Eagles reached the big game. They will look to avenge a 24-21 loss to the Patriots in 2005.

Can you imagine what the streets could look like if they win?
