What happened: Charles Edward Flanning shot three times through the door as Thomas Roshaad Everett attempted to enter Flanning's home after midnight. At least one of the bullets hit Everett in the buttocks, police reported. Everett survived. A multi-use tool with knife and hammer believed to be Everett's was found outside Flanning's home.
