Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa: Here’s the lineup

After a rocky 2023 that has included looking for a new venue due to Kiley Garden being closed for water intrusion issues, Gasparilla Music Festival is set for April 29-30 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. The initial lineup was announced today.

Who is performing?

Run the Jewels, the hip-hop duo composed of El-P and Killer Mike, are headlining the festival, along with Grateful Dead cover band Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. Electrofunk duo Chromeo, Los Angeles indie rockers Local Natives and folk music sister act Rising Appalachia are also on the lineup. For a full list, visit gasparillamusic.com.

How do I get tickets?

Tickets are on sale now at gmftickets.com. General admission single-day tickets are $50, and two-day tickets are $80. VIP single tickets are $125, or $200 for both days. Tickets are exchanged for wristbands at the gates and are nonrefundable.

Where can I park?

There are several garages and parking lots close to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Hourly parking is available in various city-owned and private lots. A limited amount of on-street parking is available throughout downtown. On-street parking meters north of Kennedy Boulevard are free on weekends.

Here are a few suggestions: Fort Brooke Garage (107 N Franklin St.); William F. Poe Garage at the corner of Ashley Drive and Cass Street (closest to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park); Madison Lot at the corner of Florida Avenue and Twiggs Street; Kennedy Lot at the corner of Kennedy Boulevard and Marion Street; and Park Tower Garage at the corner of Kennedy Boulevard and Tampa Street.
